During the 2013 Fall Conference attendees had many different workshop opportunities from very talented Artists and Teachers from around the state. During the clay workshop attendees created clay whistles. Here are a few great examples of the whistles that were created this year.

CJ James

Ceramics  ,

CJ James is a senior at Green River High School.  According to Mr. Steiss CJ has become one of the most advanced ceramic students in Green River. He is averaging just over three pots per day this semester and has made great technical improvements to his throwing techniques and surface decoration.  The Art community is excited to watch this young man as he continues to pursue his passion in ceramics. The WSAEA is proud to have CJ as one of our featured High School Artists in 2013.

Kyler Lunberg

Ceramics  ,

Kyler Lunberg is a Senior at Campbell County High School. Working with clay has always been something he enjoyed. He is now considering a career in Art Education. He has always enjoyed art and especially Mr. Linduska’s class. Mr. Linduska the CCHS ceramics instructor says “Kyler has put in the extra hours needed to refine his craft and it shows in his art” The WSAEA is proud to have Kyler as one of our Featured High School Artists of 2014.
